“I want this to last forever,” he said, his hips jerking, that coiling tension within me building yet again. “I want you in every way possible.”

He slid out of me, and before I could cry at the loss, at the empty feeling he’d left behind, he flipped me to my stomach and pulled me up on my knees.

I arched my back, lifting my ass for him, and he thrust home, taking me even deeper than before. Each stroke had me keening, the sounds from my mouth indecipherable as he drove into me again and again.

“Not. Close. Enough,” he said, each word punctuated by the drive of his hips. He reached forward and gripped my waist, pulling me upward until my back rested against his chest, my knees bracketing his, unable to reach the bed.

“Weston!” I cried out at the deeper fit.

“Calliope,” he answered, tipping my face toward his with his fingers, then kissing me deep as he moved within me.

His hands were on my waist, my hips, raising and dropping me back onto him in time with his thrusts. I stroked his waist, his neck, whatever I could reach. Our bodies glided, slick with sweat, and he only broke the kiss when we both struggled to breathe, our pulses racing.

“I’m…I’m…” I couldn’t even get the words out. Everything within me drew tight, all centered exactly where we were connected, and he brought his fingers to my clit.

“I know. Me. Too.” His breath came in pants against my lips, and his fingers pushed me right over the edge, the second orgasm making my body lock, then let go as the pleasure of it blinded me.

I cried out again, but this time it was his name, and I felt him jolt inside me as he found his own release, his mouth on mine.

We breathed the same air as we came down, our chests heaving as he lowered us to the bed, tucking me against him as the sun set through the window.

“That was…” I shook my head.

“It was,” he agreed, his hand stroking up and down my side, soothing and yet inflaming with the same touch.

I wanted to cry when he slid out of me, to demand that time rewind so I could experience that again, so I could live in the moment we’d just surrendered to. But time didn’t work like that.

He kissed my shoulder, and I rolled to my back so I could look up at him.

The gold flecks in his eyes caught the light, and my heart ached as I soaked in everything about him. I’d never seen him look so at peace, so happy. “You’re beautiful.”

“You’re drunk on sex and orgasms,” he replied with a grin.

And now he was even more beautiful.

I drew my tongue across my swollen lower lip, and he groaned, bending down to kiss me.

Just like that, I wanted him again. I wanted everything there could be between us.

“I want you on top of me next time,” he growled against my lips. “I want these in my hands as you ride me.” He cupped my breast, his thumb flicking over my nipple.

“I thought we were only doing this once.” I turned fully to face him.

“Give me one night.” The look in his eyes had me arching closer.

“And then what? You’ll let me go?” My fingers drifted from his neck down his chest.

Two lines formed between his eyebrows. “I make no promises.”

“You can have whatever you want, Weston.” I lifted my knee over his hip.

He nodded. Then he started the taking all over again.

Working on Thanksgiving sucked, but there was no rest when it came to a ski resort on a holiday weekend. It was the reason dinner was scheduled for eight p.m. tonight.

I set the bird down on the ridgeline to the south of Madigan Mountain. “Go time,” I said through my headset.

Theo opened the sliding door and ushered the guests out onto the snow-covered peak, reminding them to keep their heads low and move away from the helicopter. Once they were out, I headed to the rear, leaving the rotors spinning, and motioned toward Callie, who had taken the farthest seat in the back next to Sutton.

“You ready for this?” I asked through the headset.

She turned toward Sutton. “Promise me you won’t leave that seat.”

“Promise!” Sutton said through a headset of her own.

Callie sucked in a deep breath as she brought her eyes to mine, moving past the center bench to where I waited.

She was already wearing the harness, which had taken minutes for me to buckle her into back in the hangar. Minutes where I’d used it as an excuse to caress the curve of her waist and brush the insides of her thighs with my fingers.

I’d held true to our one night promise and kept my hands off her for three days.
