“What are you doing?” she asks, looking up at me.

Wrapping my arms around her, I pull her body into mine and kiss the top of her nose. “Looking for something to make for you to eat. You’re going to need all the energy you can get.”

“Mm...so your master plan is to feed and fuck me all weekend?”

“Yes.” I smile. “Didn’t you get the memo?”

She chuckles and nods. “Better feed me good then.”

The next two days fly by, and as much as I miss Ginny, I wish we had more time. I devoured every inch of Viola on every surface of the cabin: the shower, kitchen counter, dining room table, and the hot tub.

“Well, I’d say we got our money’s worth,” Viola says as I carry the luggage to the door where she’s waiting for me.

“Considering we broke the bed in four places, I imagine they’ll be sending a bill.”

She chuckles at the memory, as I wrap my arm around her and kiss her once more before taking the luggage out to the car. She follows me out, looking more exhausted than when we arrived, but I know it was exactly what we both needed.

Once the luggage is packed and the car is loaded, I lean my back against the car and smile as she stands between my legs. This was a weekend I’ll never forget, and I can’t wait to marry her and make her my wife.

“This was a perfect weekend,” she says, resting her head against my chest.

“It really was,” I agree. “However, I think we can top it on the honeymoon.”

“Yeah?”

I nod in certainty. “Mile high club. Sex on the beach. Sex in the ocean. Sex in an old church.”

“A church?” she exclaims, narrowing her eyes at me in disapproval.

“Why not? It’s our honeymoon.” I shrug casually. “Speaking of...are we going to set a date soon? Now that the firm is up and running, and Ginny is getting bigger, I think it’s time. Don’t you?”

She looks up at me and pulls her lips into her mouth, and I worry I’ve said the wrong thing. I study her face and see concern written all over, and immediately think the worst.

“Have you changed your mind?”

“No! Nothing like that,” she says. “I love you, and of course I want to marry you.”

“Then what is it?” I brush a strand of hair off her face, and she shivers.

“Well...” She takes a deep breath. “How do you feel about planning it nine months out?”

“I would marry you tomorrow if I could, but I want to give you the wedding of your dreams, so whether it’s a month from now or nine, I’m all in.”

“Good.” She smiles. “Because in nine months, we’ll have our hands pretty full.”

I narrow my eyes as I notice the glow on her cheeks and it finally hits me.

Ho-ly shit.

EPILOGUE

VIOLA

One year later...

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, lived a young princess who awaited a prince who would give her everything she ever dreamed of...love, passion, loyalty. He’d be the sweetest, kindest, most heartwarming gentleman a girl could ever ask for. And he’d be perfect.

...And he is. Travis King, my prince charming.

I can hardly believe it’s here.

But here we are, just two weeks until we say I do.

It’s been almost two years since Travis proposed, and only three months since the arrival of baby James. Yes, we continued with our theme, even if Travis really pushed for a name from Bridget Jones. He’s never winning that battle.

We finally set a date for a fall wedding in September, and even though I’m more than ready to become Mrs. Travis King, fitting into my wedding dress after having a baby has stressed me out. That led to stress eating, which ultimately led to more stress about not fitting into the wedding dress.

Travis has been amazing through it all, and no matter how crazy my hormones were, or how stubborn I was on wedding details, he’s stayed by my side. I didn’t think it was possible, but I love him more now than I ever have before. He’s an incredible father, and watching him with our kids is a daily reminder of how lucky I am.

As I lie in bed with James on one side of me after an early morning feeding, and Ginny on the other side, squeezed between Travis and me, it’s easy to see how much our lives have changed in just two years. King Marketing was named as one of Fortune’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies of the Year, which was a surprise and a blessing. The amount of exposure the company received was beyond anything we ever imagined. Small and large businesses from every corner of the map have contracted our services. Before James was born, I helped out at the firm when I could, but since Ginny is still little too, I’ve chosen to be the most kickass stay-at-home mom ever, and I love every minute of it. I’ve even started blogging about mommy stuff and books—two of my biggest passions.
