“You two aren’t as close as you used to be. It used to be impossible to see her without you,” Falcon says placing the photo down.

“People grow up, and apart.”

He shakes his head. “You two were closer than the four of my friends. We didn’t grow apart.”

He’s right, we were.

“Why are you here, Falcon?”

He stands from my bed and looks around again. I have notepads everywhere, pens and pencils scattered as well. You never know when you might need to write something down. I want to excel in my career, so I try to do everything possible to make sure I have writing instruments permanently around me in case inspiration hits.

“You can’t hate me that much, can you?” The corner of his mouth lifts as he waits for an answer.

“You embarrassed me, humiliated me.”

He shakes his head. “No, clearly your drunk ass remembers that night wrong.”

I cross my hands over my chest. “It doesn’t matter, you’re a whore and you always will be. I don’t fuck manwhores.”

“But you could let one fuck you.”

I balk at his comment, he has no shame. “You’re trying awfully hard for a fuck, Falcon. Tell me… have you ever had to try this hard before?”

He steps away from the bed and comes closer. His hands don’t touch me as he circles me, but I can feel his heavy breathing all over my skin which I know he’s doing on purpose. “No, and it’s making me irritated, to say the least. So, how about you put me out of my misery and lay on that bed naked?”

Hot breath meet neck.

A shiver breaks through, and I manage to step forward, he follows and stays where he is behind me as we both face the bed.

“How about you get undressed first.”

“You’re playing with fire, Raven.”

“Scared, Falcon?”

He steps away from me and circles back until he’s in front of me, behind him is my bed. He reaches for his shirt and starts to undo the buttons. When the last one is loose, his shirt opens just briefly. I can see the hint of a tattoo on his chest and my fingers are itching to reach out and run along the perfect curves.

“Your turn,” he says, removing it completely. His chest is a work of art and I want to run my tongue along all his edges to see what parts taste different. “Who would have thought you could be quiet.”

I manage to look up at him. He’s smiling. He knows what he’s doing to me and it makes him happy. Two can play this game. I have on an old dress, and under it are my swimmers. I planned to shower after my swim and face mask. And I still do, but first I want to play with Falcon.

My hands grip my old dress and pull, the cold air hits my legs and I peek up to see him watching me with intent. The dress comes off easily and leaves only my favorite red two-piece bathing suit, which shows way too much cleavage but also looks fabulous on me.

“Quiet, Falcon?” I throw his words back at him.

He manages to look me in the eyes and smile. “Now, if I could just get you to remove that we could have some fun.”

I fake a yawn and reach for my dress, covering myself up. “Oh, look at that…” I look at my wrist and smile, “… time’s up. Thanks for stopping by, let’s not do this again.”

His smile drops and he looks at me like I’m joking, but I’m not. My hands pick up his shirt and place it against his chest as I push him back to the door.

“You’re one cruel woman, Raven. So fucking cruel.” He doesn’t make it hard to push him to the front door, I think he actually enjoys having my hands on him. Just as I go to close the door, his hands wrap around my waist and he pulls me flush against him. I can feel him between my legs and I gasp.

“Next time I won’t let you get away so easily. Maybe my BOB wants to play, too.” He winks, letting me go, and I almost fall to a puddle on the floor. Managing to shut the door, I collapse against it. I’m still there, holding my dress in my hands when Chad walks out.

“I know you’re trying to hate him and all, but at least do the world a favor and fuck the shit out of that man. I could feel the sexual tension from the next room.”

I throw my dress at him. “You couldn’t have lied and said I wasn’t here,” I berate him, still not moving from the floor.

“No, when he saw me, he looked like he may have wanted to kill me. Then I told him I was gay, and he smiled and asked for you. How do you resist that man, is my question?” Chad fans his face.
