“I’ll handle that,” Owen assured him calmly, adjusting himself and zipping up his jeans before running his hands through his hair. “You’re going to go to the parking lot, get in your car and drive straight home to wait for me. I’ll be right behind you.”

“Bossy son of a bitch,” Jeremy muttered, thrown by the intensity of his reaction, and how quickly he’d given in despite his decision not to. “Who invited you?”

“We still need to talk.” Owen leaned into him and kissed his neck, scraping his teeth along the tight chords of muscle. “You don’t like that you like it, I know,” he whispered. “But we’ll both like what you get for doing what I say. I promise.”

He walked away and Jeremy shoved his hands in his pockets, cursing himself for his weakness. He couldn’t stop this train, even though he knew it was destined to go off the rails. Jeremy didn’t have much control when it came to Owen. All the man had to do was look at him the right way or say a word and he laid it all at his damn feet. Ending this would be the smart thing. The safe thing. But Owen would have to be the one to do it, and right now, it looked like that was the last thing he wanted.

Jeremy drove back to his house, thinking about what Owen had said. While he’d had been trying to back off and give him an out, his stubborn lover had gotten a plug to stretch his ass for Jeremy’s cock.

He had it in right now.

His best friend wanted to be his lover. Wanted him.

He pulled his truck into the driveway and shut off the ignition, sitting in the dark and letting it sink in. Owen wanted Jeremy to fuck him. One erotic fantasy after another played out in his head. Lifting Owen against the wall, his legs over Jeremy’s arms as he lowered him onto his cock. Taking Owen on the floor, in the shower, the sound of his cries as he came.

Jeremy unbuttoned his jeans and lowered the zipper, pulling out the dick that was already growing hard again as he let his dreams play out. Owen said he was obsessed? He couldn’t possibly have it as bad as Jeremy.

“Owen,” he murmured, stroking himself. “You’re tight, baby. Gonna fuck your ass so hard.”

But he knew when he was done Owen wouldn’t be able to leave well enough alone. He’d have to have his turn. Jeremy groaned, knowing that he would resist, and that he would eventually give in—because he wanted it more than he’d ever thought possible. With Owen. Only with Owen.

A conversation from the other night had him imagining Owen on top. Being pinned down as Owen demanded his submission, whispering filthy things in his ear as he took what he wanted.

“This is mine. Tell me, Jeremy. Tell me this ass belongs to me. Beg me to fuck it. Beg me to stuff this greedy hole with my cock.”

“Yours,” Jeremy mumbled, pressing his head back against the seat as his hand worked his shaft. “Please. Only you.”

The knock on his window made him jump like a kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar. Or a teenage boy caught with his hand down his pants.

Owen was watching him.

Jeremy rolled down the window, his cheeks burning. “You got here fast.”

Owen lifted one eyebrow. “I know I didn’t tell you to go inside the house to wait for me, but I thought that was a given.”

Jesus, was that what he was doing? Obeying Owen like some mindless slave? “Fuck you, man.”

Already rattled, Jeremy got out and slammed the truck door behind him, his long strides taking him to his front door and inside before some random neighbor looked out and noticed his state of undress. He was seriously messed up.

“Fucking is the plan.” Owen followed him into the living room carrying a stuffed gym bag. When he saw Jeremy’s eyes fixed on it, he laughed. “I came prepared this time. Some clothes and a few supplies you might enjoy.”

Jeremy ground his teeth. The bastard took a hell of a lot for granted. “I thought talking was the plan. You had an overnight bag in your car before you came to meet me?”

Owen nodded, determination etched into his handsome face. “We can do both. And the plan was not leaving without you, Jeremy. You know how stubborn I can be.”

His strange calm should have aggravated Jeremy’s temper. Instead, he found himself following his lead, taking a breath and collecting his scattered wits. “I do. I’m just not sure why you’re being stubborn about this.” He nodded at the bag. “Is this your subtle way of saying you want to stay for the weekend?”

“It’s my not-so-subtle way of saying I’m staying the night. Let’s leave it at that for now.” When Jeremy frowned, Owen sighed. “I get why you backed off, Jeremy, I do. Why you decided to limit us to that night. I don’t like that you didn’t talk to me, but I get it. Neither one of us was expecting this to happen. But now that it has, you can’t deny how good it feels. And I refuse to apologize for wanting more of you.”
