“Who are you?” I repeat.

“I’m Kai.” His hand goes to his hip when I just continue to stare at him. “I’m Professor’s pet.”

“Pet?” What a ridiculous concept.

“Yes. Like you’re TJ’s pet. I belong to Professor.”

“Bisexual bikers?” I huff a quick laugh. Just when I thought I’d seen it all. Even though I’m naked under the blankets, for some reason, Kai doesn’t strike fear in me.

“Professor isn’t bisexual. He’s flat out as gay as they come, sweetheart.” His tongue sweeps over his plump bottom lip. “I’m bisexual though.”

He winks in a mischievous way, and unconsciously I’m tugging the blankets a little bit higher under my chin.

“Don’t worry, doll. No one in this club will touch you without permission.”

“TJ’s permission,” I qualify.

Another wink. “Exactly.”

“And no one touches you without Professor’s?”

His bright white teeth dig into his bottom lip. “I tend to get into trouble with that, but I think my man expects it.”

I don’t move a muscle to climb off the bed, figuring if I just sit still this guy will leave.

“I wouldn’t advise you doing the same though,” he says as he begins to sit on the edge of the bed like he owns the place. “Professor uses orgasm denial to punish me, and well, TJ has that damn knife, so his punishments may be a little more permanent than blue balls.”

“What are you doing?” I try to slide further away, but he’s sitting on top of the blankets, preventing me from moving.

“I made breakfast for you.” He points to the tray. “Well I didn’t make breakfast for you, but Vixen has PMS, and she likes to cook when that happens. The entire club benefits when it’s her time of the month.”

“And to think, I just sleep all day,” I mumble when I look past him at the tray stacked high with pancakes, eggs, and sausage links. “Did TJ already eat?”

“TJ left,” Kai says. “He probably won’t be back until after the sun goes down.”

My grip strengthens on the blanket. “He left me?”

“He left, doll. He didn’t leave you. He’ll be back.” Kai springs off the bed. “Eat and get dressed. There’s a party tonight, and you need to be ready.”

I do what any girl would do in this weird-ass situation. I stare at him like he’s grown two heads.

“Now!” he insists, pointing his finger at the closed bathroom door. “Get a shower. You have half an hour.”

“I’m naked. I’m not getting out of this bed until you leave.”

He snorts, humor sparkling in his eyes, but turns around and leaves. “Thirty minutes,” he hollers from the other side of the closed door.

It’s early afternoon. If there’s a party going on tonight, it won’t jump off until close to midnight. Kai may be a diva, but it won’t take me hours and hours to get ready. Plus, I don’t even know if TJ is going to want me here. Knowing all of this doesn’t stop me from scarfing down the food Kai brought and rushing through a shower. I’m normally not one to get involved with anyone expecting friendship or anything of that sort, but there’s something about being here in TJ’s space and being invited to god knows what that has my blood thrumming with excitement.

I’m towel drying my hair with the bathroom door open to vent some of the steam from my shower when the bedroom door opens again.

“Now I see what all the fuss is about,” Kai says, his eyes never straying from my tits. He seems enthralled, even with just the side-boob and perky nipple he’s able to see.

I don’t cower or cover myself and insist he leave. Doing that would show fear or shame, and I’m too fucking stubborn for that.

“Are you just going to stand there making my dick hard?”

“The inability to control your dick isn’t my problem.”

His lips twitch when I hang the towel on the rack and face him full on.

“You’re bare.” His eyes have left my tits and are now focused on the apex of my thighs. “Xena’s going to be saddened by that.”

“I don’t have any clothes.”

“I don’t think anyone is going to mind.”

It’s my turn to snort at his ridiculousness.

“You don’t think TJ would get upset if I prance around buck-ass naked?”

Kai shrugs. “He’s never had a problem with any of the other girls showing and sharing his goodies.”

My stomach roils.

“But I don’t think anyone has been given free rein over his room either.”

That last part barely softens the jealous rage I feel from his first statement.

“He’s also warned all the guys away from you, and that’s new as well.” I don’t know if he’s saying this to make me feel better because I wasn’t able to school the disappointment off my face fast enough or if it’s actually true. “Let’s not take any chances. Better get some clothes on.”

“I don’t have any clothes,” I tell him slower this time just in case he doesn’t compute information easily.
