She spins lightly on her toes, looking at me coyly over one shoulder, and I place a small gold necklace around her neck. It’s got a small, filigreed heart pendant in the middle that is both delicate and discreet. After all, Carolyn’s an understated type of girl, so I tried to choose something that she would actually like.

“There. Now, it’s perfect,” I say with satisfaction.

She stares at her reflection in the mirror, her fingers lightly brushing the golden chain.

“Thank you, Preston,” she breathes. “I love it so much.”

Then she turns to me, and I bend my head to capture that pink pout with my own. This woman is so sweet and luscious that I have half a mind to ravish her here and now, skipping the dinner upstairs. But her stomach lets out a low rumble, and we break apart, laughing.

“I guess I need some food,” she says in a rueful tone.

My big hand slips inside one of the cutouts to stroke over her tummy intimately.

“Guess so,” I grin. “Come on, baby.”

With that, I take her hand and lead her onto the deck upstairs where dinner is being served.

“Oh, wow,” she breathes as she scans the scene. There are twinkling fairy lights strung all around the rails of the ship, and a table is set in the center, complete with a sprig of flowers, a white tablecloth and gently flickering candles placed under glass hurricanes. “This is amazing, Preston,” she breathes. “Thank you for arranging it.”

I pull her chair out for her and invite her sit, before taking my seat across from her.

“It wasn’t any trouble, honey. I felt like our first date was lacking a bit.”

She quirks a brow at me. “Really? I didn’t feel that way.”

I nod.

“Well, it was fun, certainly, but I can’t keep you all to myself in the penthouse. I wanted to step up my game and show you a really good time.”

She smiles and takes my hand across the table.

“I’m already having a good time. I’m with you,” she murmurs, almost glowing in the gentle flame of the candle.

At that moment, a waiter appears, dressed nattily in white. He’s got two plates of seafood carbonara in his hands, and it smells absolutely delicious. The fancy china is piled high with pasta, shrimp, and pieces of lobster tail.

“Sir,” he nods politely while setting a plate in front of me. “Ma’am.”

Then, another waiter appears with sides of sautéed broccoli and spicy, herbed potatoes. The aromas are mouth-watering and make my stomach rumble.

“I guess that’s two of us,” Carolyn giggles. “It seems we’re both ready to devour this food.”

I nod and pick up my wine glass. “Here’s to you, sweetheart,” I say, raising my Cabernet. “And many more harbor cruises together.”

She flushes pink but raises her glass to clink against mine.

“Here’s to us,” she murmurs. “Thank you again, Preston, for bringing me aboard.”

It’s then that I meet her eyes and fall head-long into the chocolate brown pools. After all, this woman is everything I’ve ever wanted. She’s lush, sexy, and classy all at once, with exactly the type of personality and curves that I crave. How can life get any better? All I know is that with Carolyn, my mind has been opened and the world is my playground.

Carolyn

Three months later.

It’s been three months since Zora’s wedding, and my life is absolutely blissful. Of course, Preston mentioned that he wanted to see me seriously during one of our early dates, but that’s a very vague statement. As a busy CEO, maybe “serious” just means getting together for dinner and bedtime activities once a month.

But instead, my boyfriend makes time for me constantly, and I’ve developed (gasp!) feelings. We spend a lot of time together, and as a result, I’m hardly ever in my own apartment anymore. Instead, my soaps, lotions, and a good portion of my closet sit in the walk-in closet right next to his belongings. We shower, sleep, and eat together, and the whole set-up is so domestic that I get warm butterflies just thinking about it.

But today, I’m actually at my own apartment just enjoying the down time. It’s nice because Preston always gives me such a work-out in the bedroom so that I’m actually a bit sore from our calisthenics. Now, I’m grateful to have some much-needed time off to recuperate. My pussy is achy and my backdoor stings if I shift too suddenly. But it’s okay because I love giving the billionaire what he wants, and I’ve never come so hard in my two and a half decades here on Earth.

At the moment, I’m lying on the couch in the living room and staring blissfully at the TV while not really paying attention. It’s just some crappy romantic comedy that’s on Lifetime, but I’m too tired to change the channel, so I’ve been letting it play in the background while I alternate between texting and napping.
