Did she have any idea how fucking adorable she was in that skimpy flapper dress? He’d wanted to reach under it all day to find out what sort of panties she was wearing.

She wasn’t wearing a bra. That much was for sure. She often didn’t wear a bra. Those days had always been the most challenging ones for him. The thought of her loose breasts all perky, high, and tight made it difficult to concentrate.

Tatiana had been a distraction for as long as he’d known her. Lately, she’d pushed him to the brink. Yesterday, he’d thrown in the towel and claimed her.

Had he been too pushy? Considering she had acquiesced without flinching, he didn’t think so, but they really needed to have a conversation tonight. A serious one. A long one. At his house if he could hold off that long and not bring it up while they were still at work.

She had kicked off those stilettos about an hour ago, and though it had been no hardship watching her prance around the shop all day in those fuck-me shoes, he thought he loved her barefoot even more.

As she approached him, she looked so very Little. Her hair was in two blond braids. Her bare feet were shuffling across the floor. She was wringing her hands in front of her.

“Come here, Rainbow.” He was sitting at his station, putting everything away. As he closed up his tools, he reached for her.

She nearly ran into his arms.

His heart swelled. Her uncertain expression turned into a smile as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “I wasn’t sure…” Her voice trailed off.

He slid a hand up her back. God, it felt good to have the liberty to touch her. He couldn’t wait to touch the rest of her. Every inch. With his hands and his mouth. The woman had tats on her he’d never seen. He wanted to get intimately acquainted with every one of them.

He kissed her forehead before tugging her braids at the back to encourage her to tip her face back. “Look at me, Baby girl.”

She met his gaze without wavering.

Good girl.

“I sprang this change in our relationship on you yesterday with no warning. Are you good with it?”

“Yes, Sir,” she whispered. “Very good with it, but nervous and uncertain.”

“You know I would never do anything to hurt you.”

She nodded.

“The truth is you’ve been my Little girl for a while. In my head, at least. I dream about you, and I wake up hard from your image. I guess I’m done pretending it means nothing.”

Her cheeks turned pink and she chewed on her bottom lip.

“I’m not playing around, Rainbow. This is a huge step, but it’s for keeps. We’re not going backward. You’ve been mine. That’s not new. But I want to make it official. I want all the parts of you I’ve denied myself before now.”

She shuddered in his arms but then relaxed against him. “You’re being kind of a caveman about this, but I like it. I’m glad.”

He chuckled. “I am being a bit of a caveman, aren’t I?”

She nodded. “What happens now?”

“Now, you come home with me. I cook you dinner. We talk about what our relationship looks like going forward. But you should know, I’m dead serious. Last night was the last time I’m going to drop you off at your apartment.” He lifted a brow, waiting for her to catch up.

She shivered and licked her lips. “You want me to sleep over?”

“For the rest of your life, yes. I’m not saying we have to get intimate yet. We can take our time. We won’t have sex until you’re ready. But I want you under my roof. I want to spoil you and discipline you and always know exactly where you are, so I’ll know you’re safe.”

“Okay,” she whispered.

This was going easier than he’d expected. Thank God. “I paced my house last night for hours after I left you in your apartment. That’s not going to happen anymore. Tonight I’m going to sleep like a baby, knowing you are also sleeping soundly where I can tuck you in and check on you.”

“I won’t be sleeping with you?”

“Eventually, but like I said, not until you’re ready. I have a nursery. A place where you can play and nap in the long run, but you can sleep there at night until you decide you’d like to sleep in Daddy’s bed.”

Her cheeks pinkened further, and she slid her small hands up into his shoulder-length hair. “What if I’m ready now?”

His breath hitched. “Baby girl…”

She shrugged. “It’s not like we just met. I’ve known you for years. You’ve been my best friend and my partner for a long time. If we’re going to change our relationship status from ‘It’s complicated’ to ‘In a relationship,’ there’s nothing else to think about.”
