“Some of the girls wouldn’t mind a new cock at the orgy inside. Just saying,” Knight added before parking in front of a wide door.

Shadow frowned. “I’m not giving it away. I just got it!”

Gray chuckled. The beautiful sound was crystal clear and beckoned Shadow’s gaze like a little bell. Had he finally done something that pleased his human?

Gray briefly caught his gaze and… yes, his eyes were warm this time, like two candles lit to celebrate Shadow. “Sure. Keep it. Just don’t show it to anyone.”

Knight was already unbuckling his seatbelt. “That’s actually true. Unless they ask for it, don’t show it. And don’t send people dick pics unless they want them. But you don’t have a phone, do you? Will he get a phone?”

“No,” Gray said curtly and left the car.

What was a dick-pick and what did it have to do with phones? Why did no one care to explain? There wasn’t time to ask because Gray and Knight moved fast, and he wouldn’t be left behind.

They entered the building Shadow both vaguely knew and didn’t recognize all at once. He walked half a step behind Gray with his heart beating fast and his dick throbbing in his pants as if Gray were holding it like a leash.

The corridor ahead boomed with noise, as if it were a tube amplifying whatever was happening on the other end, but both the bikers didn’t seem at all surprised by the cacophony, so Shadow didn’t mention it either and just looked on, trying to discern the movement of shadows cast on a far-off wall.

“Okay, I need my jacket back,” Knight said and pulled down the zipper, opening the leather garment on Shadow.

Cool air made Shadow gasp, but at least it was much warmer inside the building than it had been by the tree, so he gave Knight the jacket and hugged himself to retain some of its warmth. “Will I get it back sometime?”

Gray sighed. “Maybe. We’ll see what kind of clothes we can find for your size. You can’t walk around naked.”

Knight grinned as he donned the jacket. “Talk to Beast. Nothing of yours is gonna do.

“Fuck off,” Gray said absent-mindedly, and even though the words were vulgar, Shadow understood from the men’s body language that Gray didn’t mean to offend Knight.

The closer they were to the source of music, the warmer the air got, making Shadow gradually drop his arms to his sides.

“Maybe if you touched me I’d be warmer,” Shadow said to Gray, inching that bit closer, led by the pressure in his balls and cock, which increased the nearer he was to Gray.

Gray and Knight looked at one another, but only the latter smiled.

“I like him. He’s just like I used to be when I was twelve and first got interested in girls.”

Gray pointedly stepped farther away from Shadow, taking his warmth with him. “Didn’t you have a booty call? Go on. I’m not stopping you.”

Knight wiggled his eyebrows and grinned. “I get it. You two want privacy.”

Gray glared at him, but Knight had already rushed off. Shadow found it odd that while he could tell Knight was a handsome human, his presence didn’t elicit the kind of emotions in him Gray had from the very moment Shadow became his own being. He didn’t understand it just yet, but he would do his best to comprehend everything about his connection with Gray.

“Did you hear that? I’m like him. Like a human,” Shadow said, pacing on the spot because his feet were freezing on the cold floor.

Gray shook his head. “He didn’t mean it literally. People often say things they don’t mean to make a point, or to joke. Knight does this all the time,” he said and continued down the noisy hallway, gesturing for Shadow to follow.

Shadow’s shoulders fell. “Oh. Do you do that too?” Gray moved in such a graceful manner Shadow decided to try and copy it, but he couldn’t get it right, and the imitation only made his hips and arms swing more.

Gray only noticed after a couple of seconds, and his face twisted as if he’d had something unappetizing to eat. “Are you mocking me? Just walk normally and don’t meet anyone’s gaze. People are having fun tonight.”

Shadow tried to make his walk ‘normal’ again, but now that he was focusing on it, he wasn’t sure anymore how that should go. “I like how you move.”

Gray was silent for several moments, his eyes scanning Shadow’s face, but in the end he exhaled, shoulders relaxing. “Thank you. Let’s just move on. I don’t want us to catch anyone’s attention,” he said louder now, as they were nearing the source of the rhythmic noise.

Red light seeped through cracks under the doors and into the corridor while the air thudded with the sound of drums and voices that were oddly screechy. But the noise wasn’t the only thing generated here. The floor and walls around Shadow pulsed with pure red energy, and when he strained his eyes, tuning in to what he could still sense of the world on the Other Side, he spotted black veins transmitting power somewhere below his feet. It was as if the energy produced behind the half-closed doors were onyx ore, tangy yet sweet when Shadow leaned against the wall and licked it with the tip of his tongue.
