“If you would have gotten arrested, I wouldn’t have bailed you out,” Shiloh told Trigger.

“Shy, do I look like a boy? Baby, you know I’m all man.” He grabbed his junk. “These here are man balls.”

We busted out laughin’, unable to contain ourselves. He was such a smartass.

Trigger drove us back to the cabin, and Shiloh and I proceeded to get everythin’ ready to grill out by the campfire. The boys built our fire, shootin’ the shit with some of our friends from school who were there as well.

Later that night as we all sat by the bonfire, Jackson handed me the last bite of his S’more without me even askin’. My belly fluttered in a million somersaults, one right after the other by his gesture. The women in our families always said that last bites meant love. Especially to a guy since all they wanted was to be fed.

I didn’t acknowledge how it made me feel, at least I thought I didn’t until Jackson kissed my bare shoulder. Without usin’ words, he let me know he was thinkin’ the same thin’ I was. Causin’ my stomach to flutter all over again.

“Alright, Pierce, you’re up! Tell us one hell of a scary story,” Trigger interrupted, oblivious to the fact he was interruptin’ a moment.

Takin’ a swig of his beer, Jackson started tellin’ us this tale about a tarantula in the woods. “And so, the woman who wanted to sleep alone, didn’t realize the tarantula of the woods just laid a million eggs in her ear. Only when she woke up the next mornin’ did she notice she couldn’t hear.”

My eyes widened, fuckin’ terrified. I hated spiders, specifically tarantulas. They were my worst and biggest fear.

“Oh my God! I can’t hear this anymore. I’m goin’ to bed. Come on, Teddy. Night everyone.”

“Night, babe!” Shiloh hollered from under her blanket, as scared as I was.

Walkin’ into the kitchen first, I filled a bowl of water for my boy before goin’ into my room. Closin’ the door behind me, I kicked off my clothes and stepped into the en suite shower, wantin’ to wash away the smell of bug spray and smoke from the fire. Washin’ my hair twice for good measure.

Steam filled the bathroom, and I savored the sensation of the hot water runnin’ down every inch of my body. Tryin’ my hardest to shake off the butterflies still lingerin’ in my belly from the boy I thought I hated the most.

Or did I?

Feelin’ nice and clean, I wrapped a warm towel around my body, dryin’ off to throw on a tank and panties. I hated sleepin’ with a lot of clothes. Not only did it make me hot, but there was somethin’ about crawlin’ into crisp sheets with freshly shaved legs.

Pattin’ the bed, I asked Teddy, “You ready for bed, baby?”

He barked, jumpin’ up onto the mattress as I pulled back the comforter and sheets. Gettin’ ready to get nice and cozy with the only man that would be sharin’ my bed. There was nothin’ I loved more than the smell of oak and pine all around me. The cabins were my happy place, had been for as long as I could remember. So many amazin’ memories lined these walls from comin’ here as a child with our families.

Thinkin’ about the last time I was here, I sank into bed, lookin’ up at the ceilin’. My heart seizin’ in my chest almost killin’ me right then and there.

But I screamed my fuckin head off instead.

I darted into Harley’s room like the house was on fire, wearing only my gym shorts. The one thing she didn’t get her hands on.

Shouting, “The fuck?”

There was Harley, standing beside her bed dressed in a shirt that barely covered her tits. Jumping up and down still screaming her head off.

She was pointing at something, but I couldn’t take my eyes off her.

Her boobs were bouncing over and over again. Accentuating her perfect nipples which were hard as rocks. With her panties riding up her ass.

She was a wet fuckin’ dream.

“Jackson! Stop starin’ at me and get it!”

“Get what?”

“The tarantula in the woods!”

The last thing I wanted to do was move my heady stare away from her, however somehow, I found it in me to look at what she was pointing at.

“Get it! Get it!” She pointed to her eight-legged enemy that was hanging off her headboard. Just chilling.

I resisted the urge to laugh just because she looked so fuckin’ adorable and irresistible at the same time.

“Jackson! Why are you just standin’ there? It’s gonna get away and lay eggs in my ears!”

Being her hero, I quickly sprang into action. Picking up her sneaker to get rid of the problem.

“Got it.”

“Is it dead, dead, or just a little dead?”

I chuckled, flushing the tissue housing the smashed tarantula, as baby girl described it, down the toilet. “It’s resting in pieces, Harley.”
