Most men would let their eyes roam over a naked woman’s body, but not my Xander. No, his black orbs stay on mine as his hands glide down my arms to link with mine.

“You’re way overdressed.”

“You’re the most beautiful woman any of the gods or goddesses have ever created.”

And just like that, he knocks the wind right out of me. Xander makes me feel so cherished, so damn alive when we’re together. I’m simply addicted to him. I can’t get enough.

And I know, without a doubt, that he feels the same way about me.

In our early twenties, we’re just starting to find our way in the world, in our coven, and with each other.

But one thing is always a constant.

Each other.

“Will it always be like this?”

He lifts an eyebrow in question, and I swallow hard, not entirely sure why I said that. It just popped into my head and tumbled out.

“Us. This. Will it always be so…big? So fucking all-encompassing and overwhelming and just…everything important in the world?”

He blinks rapidly, obviously surprised, and then moves in closer, guiding me down to the blanket he spread out on the bottom of the boat.

That should have been my first clue that there would be no fishing tonight.

“Yes,” he says at last, his voice firm and strong. “Absolutely. Because I’ll never let you go, Lorelei.”

“Okay, that sounds a little—”

“Not in a crazy way,” he says with a deep chuckle, leaning in to kiss my cheek near my ear. “I’m so in love with you that if you were to ever leave me, it would break me in two.”

My exhale of relief is immediate. “I feel the exact same way.”

The wind picks up enough to blow through my hair, and Xander brushes it off my face and then kisses me. Softly at first, and then with more intensity and fervor. I feel the boat begin to rock with our passion.

“So fucking beautiful,” he murmurs again, letting his hands travel over my skin to my breasts, then over my ribs.

“Why aren’t I cold?”

“I put us in a little, warm bubble,” he says with a proud smile. Xander is an incredibly powerful witch. He’s been shifting into animals since he hit puberty. He can manipulate the elements, read minds, speak to the dead...

He’s incredible.

And he’s all mine.

“I like this warm bubble.” I reach for the buttons on his black shirt and begin unfastening them. “I’ll like it more when you’re naked and inside me.”

That makes him pick up his pace just a little. He shucks out of his clothes, careful to keep them from flying overboard, and then I’m straddling him, rubbing my center on his long, hard, smooth length.

“For the love of Zeus,” he hisses between his teeth as he braces my hips in his hands, helping me to move against him. “You’re the only thing in the universe that makes me lose myself.”

With a smile, I lift up and reach down to position him perfectly so I can sink over him and watch as those black eyes go heavy with pleasure.

It took my body a while to get used to him at the beginning of our relationship. Xander is tall, well over six and a half feet, and he has the cock to go with the height.

He’s always been careful with me, but I’ve adjusted to him now, and absolutely absorbed in the pleasure between us, I ride him.

The wind is wild, the waves churning, and I move on him at a pace that matches the rhythm of the water.

Thunder sounds far away, but we don’t break the perfect rhythm of the moment.

“Love you,” I mutter over and over again as I chase down the orgasm building inside me. “Goddess, I love you so much, Xander.”

“Ah, baby.” He tips my chin up with his fingers. “Eyes on me, Siren.”

My lids immediately open, and with our eyes locked and his hands on the globes of my ass, we come together, letting all our love spill into each other, right here on the open water.

“Did you just call me Siren?” I ask when I can finally breathe again and pull my dress back on.

“I did.”

He grins at me as he buttons his shirt, and I can’t help but think it’s such a shame for him to cover that gorgeous body.

“You tempt me like a siren. And you’re just as beautiful.”

“And dangerous.” I narrow my eyes at him, but he doesn’t lose his smile at all. “I’m serious. I’m a dangerous woman.”

“Oh, I’m aware.”

“But I don’t scare you.”

More thunder and lightning rage around us, catching our attention. This isn’t our doing.

“We’d better get to shore,” I say. Suddenly, the boat rocks violently as if something is beneath it, trying to tip it over. “Oh, shit, Xander.”

“Hold on,” he says, passing me a rope. “Do not let go of this. Do you hear me?”
