Ollie let go of his knees to palm my scruffy cheeks. "That was amazing, Daddy."

"You're amazing, sweet boy." He thanked me with a sloppy kiss.

I reached down and patted the floor, looking for something to clean him with. I thought about using his sock, but I didn't want his shoe to rub a blister on his bare foot when we danced together. So, I grabbed his undies and wiped him clean. "I guess you'll have to go commando," I told him.

Ollie covered his mouth and giggled through his fingers, "That's so naughty."

"So was making love fifteen feet away from the hallway where everyone was walking," I replied with a wink, and Ollie's eyes bugged out.

"You don't think anyone heard us, do you?" He'd been swept up in the moment, but now my precious boy was nervous and I felt terrible for bringing it up.

"No, I'm sure they didn't. Everyone is probably already in the reception hall."

He visibly relaxed and smiled. "Oh, good. Ooh, that reminds me; there's cake in the reception hall!"

I chuckled at how quickly he could swap emotions. "There sure is, but we can't have any until we eat the yummy dinner Zack's team made for us."

"Yes, Daddy." He sighed happily and combed his fingers through my hair. "I love you so much. I'm so proud to be your husband."

He always knew how to make my heart swell. "I love you more." He wrinkled up his nose but before he could argue, I added, "Let's get dressed so we can get to our party."

Ollie

Daddy dressed me carefully, getting me all tucked back into my fancy suit. No matter how wild he got with me, he also loved and cared for me tenderly. I could never choose which side of him I liked better; they were both a part of him and that made him my perfect Daddy.

When we were both dressed and ready to join the party, he took me in his arms and told me how gorgeous and wonderful I was, and how lucky he was to be with me. He made my eyes leaky again, but he kissed the wetness away.

Daddy held my hand tightly and led me out into the empty hallway to a closed door. On the other side, I could hear music from the band that Daddy hired, along with laughter and conversations.

“Everyone is waiting to celebrate with us,” he told me with a smile. “It will be loud and busy, but Daddy is right here with you. I promise I won’t leave your side all night. And if things get too overwhelming and you need a break, I will take you back into that room for some quiet time. If you need a nap, our guests will just have to wait.”

He always knew just what I needed. I nuzzled my head against his chest and told him, “Thank you, Daddy. I’ll be okay as long as you’re with me.” He was my strength and I knew I could always count on him.

He kissed my temple and asked, “Are you ready?” When I nodded, he pushed the door open and we stepped into the reception area. Shawn was the first one to notice our entrance and cheered loudly for us. Soon, those around him joined in until the whole room exploded with whistles and applause. I tucked myself under Daddy’s arm for support as I soaked up everyone’s joy.

Once the surprise of the noise settled down, I looked around at the room itself. It was better than I ever could have imagined; dozens of round tables filled the area. They were each covered in a black tablecloth and held a vase of red roses. More lights were strung across the rafters and gave the space a romantic feel.

"Oh Daddy, it's perfect," I whispered, and he squeezed my hand.

The band's song ended and one of the musicians spoke into a microphone, "Ladies and gentlemen, our newlyweds have just joined us. Please congratulate and welcome to the dance floor Mr. and Mr. Briggs!"

I'd taken Daddy's last name; he was my family now. My parents made that extra clear when they declined our wedding invitation. I didn't grieve for them though because I had everything I needed right next to me.

The room exploded with cheers again and Daddy led me to the center of the dance floor as everyone moved to the side to give us room.

All eyes were on us when Daddy put his hands on my waist and I settled mine on his shoulders. I'm not sure what he saw on my face, but he knew that I needed to hear, "Just look at me, baby. It's just us." I smiled as all of my anxiety melted away.

Soft music swirled through the otherwise quiet room when the band began to play All of Me. It was the perfect song choice. I loved every part of Daddy and he loved all of me; even the parts that others had seen as mistakes or flaws. But he embraced it all.
