He practically bristles at the playful tone of my voice, and I have to fight back amusement. “I could absolutely keep you.”

“No, I assure you, you could not. If I didn’t want to stay, I wouldn’t.”

Neska’s eyes narrow. “What if I tied your hands and feet with webbing?”

I pretend to consider, then playfully answer, “I’d orgasm so hard that I’d never want to leave anyhow.”

He huffs with amusement, but some of the tension eases from his long, slender form. “You orgasm quickly as it is.”

“I do. My three lords know just what I like to make me come.” I trail my fingers over his chest. “They know how to please me in bed…but they don’t know how to ask me if I want to stay with them or not. Curious, don’t you think?”

Neska tenses under my hand. “You…wish to stay? To remain as our anchor?”

“More than anything. I love being yours. I love that the three of you belong to me. I never want to leave.”

His eyes blaze with warmth, and the tension leaves the air. He reaches for me, cupping my cheek and then my neck, and pressing his forehead to mine. “You’re certain?”

“Completely. I love being your anchor…the anchor for all three of you.”

He makes an amused sound in his throat. “You are the only person in the universe that sees us as three separate faces instead of one with three facets.”

“Then I’m the only one you need.” I smile up at him, full of relief. “At least until I grow old and you tire of me.”

“No. Never.” He shakes his head, eyes closed, forehead still pressed to mine.

“I’m mortal. We age—”

“No.”

That makes me pause. He’s so certain. “No…?”

“We made a deal with Rhagos. Death will never touch your thread. As long as you are ours, you will never age, either. That is something we control.” He traces my ear with a fingertip. “You will be just as frozen in time as we are. Does that bother you? What do you think?”

“I think…it gives us a lot of time to cover the walls with spiderwebs.” I grin up at him. “Lots and lots of spiderwebs.”

Neska just groans and then he’s kissing me. My heart is full. I kiss him back, showing him how much I love him. I’m not surprised when other hands caress my back, touching me and letting me know that the other two Spidae have arrived. We share this moment of pure unadulterated joy.

It will be the first of many, I suspect, because time is long…and we have as much of it as we want.
