“I thought we could make some art ourselves. You know that pink painting you wanted to take home?”

“Yes?”

“The artist explained how he does it,” I smirk. “She covers her body in paint and lies on the canvas. Sometimes she makes love that way, too.”

She flushes, as if only now realizing the dirty subtext the painting she chose has. “Oh, I see.”

“I thought we could do the same.” I grin darkly. “The artist left behind her supplies. We could create our own painting.”

For a moment, I’m uncertain whether Tallulah’s bratty side will come out to play, but when a grin lights up her pretty face, I know I’ve won.

“I’d like that,” she says softly. “The guards won’t watch, will they?”

“I’ll put them on the upper floor and a couple outside,” I grin.

“The floor here is glass…” Tallulah chews her bottom lip nervously.

“If they look, I’ll cut their eyes out,” I finish for her. “Not to worry, angel. I’ll keep you safe. Now go into the back room where everything is set up for us already. Get naked for me.”

I follow closely behind, noticing with pleasure the goosebumps spreading over my angel’s skin. She’s as excited about this as I am. I cannot wait to make her submit to me fully, and deny her every touch, every kiss she’s so desperate to experience.

She strips in the room right in front of me. It shouldn’t be a surprise anymore to see her tempting body naked, and yet I find myself speechless every time she takes her clothes off. My cock hardens at the sight of her, the temptation to bury myself inside her stronger than ever.

Tallulah gets on her knees, sending my mind spiraling. She dumps hot pink paint all over a large, empty canvas, then holds out her hand to me with a wicked little smile. “Aren’t you going to join me, Xavier?”

I get out of my clothes, leaving my boxers on. I can feel her gaze roving over me, trying to commit every feature to memory. After all, she’s waited a long time to see me exposed like this for her. And I’m eager to show her more… once the time is right, of course. We’ve broken enough rules for one night.

She embraces me, climbing on my lap as I laugh and lean back against the paint. Soon enough, I feel the sticky hot pink color all over my body. This is going to be a bitch to get off, but I don’t even mind. I’m so engrossed in Tallulah, in her seductive ways, that I can’t bring myself to act the way I promised myself I would.

Pushing me back, my angel straddles me and starts drawing on me with the paint, dragging her talons over my skin and leaving long painted strokes in her wake. She giggles as if this is exciting before lying on her back on the canvas and making a snow angel with the paint.

I join in, flattening her body beneath mine. Our lips are so close and our bodies are touching in all the right places to make both our heads spin. I’m eager to make a move. The rules we made ring true in my mind, but it would be so very easy to ignore them right now. To simply lower my lips against hers and steal the last few months of innocence away from her, just because I can.

I shut my eyes, but then feel Tallulah’s hands on my cheeks. She pulls me in close, rendering me weaker than I’ve ever been. I want her. My body throbs with the desire to show her whom she belongs to, and yet I can’t bring myself to break the last bit of self-control I have left.

Music plays in the background, making me wonder if it’s been there the whole time and I was just too fucking caught up in Tallulah to notice it. At first, I’m oblivious to the song, but a moment later, it sends chills down my spine as I recognize the familiar tune.

“Get the fuck down!” I scream, getting on top of Tallulah just as the first shot rings out. I curse, covering her mouth with my palm as she begins to scream.

The bullet grazed my shoulder, and I know it was meant for my angel. My heart speeds up, shooting adrenaline through my body and making me angrier than I’ve ever been. My eyes meet Tallulah’s.

“Stay quiet,” I tell her. “Not a word.”

She nods, and I can tell she’s afraid. I curse inwardly for allowing this to happen. For letting her get hurt.

Around us, all hell breaks loose. People scream, blood sprays me and Tallulah and the canvas we’re lying on. I can feel her trembling beneath me and my palm is still pressed tightly against her mouth. I don’t know how to protect her. All I know is I’ll risk my life for the woman I shouldn’t love.
