And when he pushed out a long, recovering breath, he sat back on his heels, rested his hands on my shaky knees, and finally seemed to look at me.

I didn’t have a clue what he was thinking about. His eyes were guarded and probably studied me as much as I did him. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and he used the back of his wrist to wipe it away, but his gaze didn’t waver from mine. It only grew more intense the longer he looked at me, until I wanted to squirm under the power of it.

He moved then.

His hand slid under my neck and hauled me up, so I was sitting in front of him. I could feel the cold trickle of his cum down my skin, but I didn’t do a thing about it. It was because it was clear he was considering something, and if it was what I feared, I needed to be prepared to stop him.

His hand behind my neck slipped up to cup my cheek, and he swallowed so hard, I saw the bob of his Adam’s apple. I stopped breathing when he tilted my head up and leaned down to try to bring our mouths together.

“No,” I whispered when he was so close, I could feel the warmth of his breath on my lips.

He halted, frozen in place, and for a long moment he seemed to consider disregarding what I wanted. As if he needed to kiss me so badly, it was killing him not to.

He didn’t, though. Colin let out a frustrated sigh and closed his eyes and the distance between us, only he brought our foreheads together and not our lips. His skin pressed to mine, and his thumb brushed against my cheek. It was just like when he’d picked me up and carried me to the bed.

This gesture was intimate and romantic.

I sat like a statue, unsure of what to do, and unsure if I’d made the right choice in refusing to let him kiss me. Maybe he lingered here because he was giving me time to change my mind. His mouth was right there, and it’d take barely any movement at all for me to brush my lips against his.

When that didn’t happen, he inhaled a deep breath and rose, planting a gentle kiss on my forehead like he would begrudgingly have to settle for that.

It flipped everything upside down. I’d come here tonight to try new things, new experiences, and he’d done that, all right.

I just hadn’t expected him to fuck both my body and my mind so completely.

EIGHT

Colin

My head was a fucking mess after . . . whatever that was.

You mean, the hottest fuck of your life?

Once Scott told me about the wipes in the cabinet, I’d gotten them out and tossed the package at Madison so she could clean up. She’d snatched it off the bed and scrambled away like I was a creep.

I got rid of the condom and pulled my clothes back on, watching her out of the corner of my eye. I’d seen girls freak out before. Sometimes they were embarrassed by how quickly they’d hopped into bed with me, or they became weirdly nervous about being seen naked post-sex. But whatever was going on with her now? It wasn’t that.

She struggled to get dressed because she was still rattled. I’d never had someone shake like that, and I would be lying if I said it wasn’t a huge turn-on. A nice boost to my ego to know I had that kind of effect on her.

But she came with side effects too.

I was kind of irritated she wouldn’t let me kiss her, and a lot annoyed with myself for letting it get under my skin. Why the fuck did I suddenly care about this? Kissing was nice and all, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. It’d never been important before.

Maybe I was only annoyed because she was the first girl in, like, a decade who’d denied me a stupid kiss. How ridiculous was it that she’d let me stick my dick in her, but my mouth on hers was a hard limit?

Further proof the girl was crazy.

She’d pulled her sweater back in place and glared at me from the other side of the room, acting like I’d done something awful to her, which was bullshit. The sex had been anything but awful.

I opened my mouth to tell her so, but thankfully Scott pulled the door back and stepped into the room, saving me from speaking without thinking.

“Well, that was . . . interesting,” he said.

His wife followed him, and her expression said he didn’t know what he was talking about.

“It was different, but that’s not a bad thing.” She combed her fingers through her blonde hair. “I thought it was fucking hot.”

I wasn’t shy, but it was weird to stand in front of them only minutes after I’d come, knowing they’d watched the whole thing, and then get feedback. At least it was positive, which was a good sign.
