“Depends on the people.” He shrugged. “Nina and Scott did it. But I think it helps when both of them are in the business. Less jealousy that way.”

He picked up his plate, and as he walked it to the sink, I tried not to stare at how sculpted his body was. Everyone in the house was so beautiful—and I’d begrudgingly admit that included Colin—so it was hard not to consider myself the weakest link.

I certainly was when it came to experience.

This became painfully clear during the first house meeting Monday night when I kept having to stop the discussion and ask for clarification. Colin snickered when I resorted to raising my hand.

Nina seemed to find it endearing. A huge smile widened on her face. “Yes, Madison?”

“JOI?” I repeated.

“Jerk off instruction. It’s where you tell the viewer exactly how you want them to do it. You can even include a countdown and see if the viewer can come at the same time as you.”

“Aw,” Abbie said in a cutesy tone, beaming at me. “She’s so innocent.” Her warm expression was genuine and not patronizing. Since she was sitting beside me, she put her arm around my shoulders and her voice dropped low. “Don’t worry, Madison. I’ll help get you up to speed.”

I swallowed a breath. She was so close and smelled really nice, and her arm lingered around me. The way she was so comfortable and friendly, it made my heart flutter. But just as soon as I began to lean back into her, her arm dropped, and she sat up straight in her seat.

“Oh! We should play that up,” she announced. “The innocent thing. Let’s say she’s in the shower and then I come in and surprise her. She’s all, ‘Oh, no, I’m a good girl. I could never.’ But then I seduce her.”

Everything inside me went tight at the idea of her story really happening. I pictured myself in the glass shower we shared, startled by Abbie’s entrance into the room. It would be shocking, and only become more so when she took off her clothes and pulled open the door, stepping in beside me to put her hands on my body.

My mouth had gone dry, probably because all the moisture inside me had migrated down to settle between my thighs.

“I like it,” Nina said. “How does that work for you, Madison?”

The room was uncomfortably hot as every pair of eyes turned toward me and I worked hard to find my voice. Not because I didn’t want to do it, but because I didn’t want anyone to know how turned on I was. “Uh . . . sure. I think we could try—”

“Sorry,” she said, interrupting me. “I know this is still new for you, and you haven’t done same-sex stuff before. I didn’t mean to throw you in the deep end.”

“You haven’t . . .?” Abbie flattened a hand to her chest, and her lips peeled back into an enormous, bright smile. “Oh, my God. I’d love to be part of your first girl-girl scene.”

“Okay,” I said.

“Yeah?”

She leaned in and bumped her shoulder against mine, and the intimate gesture made heat bloom across my face.

“We could add on to it for another scene,” Scott said. “One of the guys could be the stepbrother who catches his sister and her friend together. Maybe he threatens to tell their parents unless they let him join in on the fun.”

My mind added to the fantasy. I imagined my hands sliding over Abbie’s soapy skin as the door creaked open and my faux brother stepped inside. His eyes filled with wicked satisfaction as he plotted his blackmail.

There were two options seated at this table who could play that role . . . so why the fuck did my gaze flick to Colin first? He stared back at me, unblinking and utterly still. It was like he wasn’t even breathing, and it was impossible to know if he hated the idea . . .

Or if he loved it.

But Jaquan spoke first. “Yeah, man. I could have some fun with that.”

I felt both disappointment and relief. I hadn’t done anything with Abbie or Jaquan yet, but they felt safer. The two of them together somehow seemed less explosive than the frat boy who was currently doing a perfect impression of a mannequin.

“Hmm.” Nina set her elbow on the table and rested her chin on her palm. “This is Colin and Madison’s first week. I know everyone’s anxious to partner with someone new, but I don’t want to overwhelm them. Plus, they haven’t cleared testing yet.”

Because my appointment at the clinic was scheduled for tomorrow morning, and she’d said it’d take a few days before we’d have the results. Her focus drifted over my head and went unfocused as she considered her options.

“Let’s keep it simple this week,” she announced. “Colin can be the one to scene with Madison and Abbie, and you three stick to just hand stuff or oral. Hold off on the sex until we know everyone’s safe and don’t have to fuck around with condoms.” Her attention settled on Colin. “Is that okay with you?”
