“You’re a dirty, little pup. Good thing I like you dirty. You like it when I tell you how hot your hole is? That I want to see you rub off on a pillow until you come all over yourself?”

“Oh God, I’m gonna come, Frankie.” His body tenses, his hole tightening around my dick. He shoves back against me as he cries out, says my name over and over again like he’s fucking praying at my altar. “Frankie, Frankie, Frankie.”

I fucking love that he could come that way, that I got him going so much he didn’t need stimulation on his cock to lose it.

His head drops for a second and then he looks up at me in the mirror again, both shy and confident at the same time, as he smiles and somehow, that’s all it fucking takes. My balls let loose, and my body trembles as I shoot. Seeing fucking stars, I unload inside the condom.

Once I pull out, Evan drops to his belly, breathing heavily. “I can’t move. That was amazing. I’ve never come so hard in my life.”

“Me either. Stay there. I’ll take care of you.” I get rid of the condom before I come back for Evan, pick him up, and lay him on the bed. I remove his hood, harness, gloves, and knee pads. His jock is a mess, all cummy, so I pull it off, raise it toward my mouth, and grin.

“Oh my God. You’re dirty!” he says, laughing.

“You taste good!” I wink, but then toss the jock to the floor before I lie down beside him. Evan automatically nuzzles into my side. “Such a cuddly pup.”

“Your cuddly pup.”

“Yep. ‘If lost please return to Frankie,’ remember?” I finger the tag on his collar, wondering if we’ll ever get to the place where we want my lock on him. I read about padlocks on collars and the commitment behind them.

“I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

“I feel the same way.” I kiss his forehead.

“Do you feel better? After getting the letter and everything?” he asks.

“I do.” Being with him always makes me feel better. The pup stuff just takes it to the next level. We started this for him, but now I think I need to be his handler as much as he needs to be my puppy. “I don’t know why it got to me so much. I guess just because the anniversary was a couple of weeks ago. So much of my life all goes back to that one day, ya know?”

There’s no one else I would be saying these things to other than Evan. No one else I’d cut my heart open for, to show them these private things inside.

“I think that makes sense. It was a major day in your life. How can it not affect you?”

“Can I tell you something?” I ask.

“You can always tell me anything.”

“That day…it’s why I do what I do. When I called 911, I waited, crying in that closet…they were the ones to rescue us. It was a paramedic who opened the door and found me. He’d heard me crying. I knew in that moment—that was what I was going to do. As they took care of my mom and me, I just knew.”

He pushes up on his elbows and looks down at me with what looks like adoration in his eyes. “You’re a hero, Frankie.”

“I don’t see it that way at all.”

“You’re my hero.” He leans in and rubs his nose against my cheek.

“You’re sweet, but I’m not sure I can be the hero here when I’m getting just as much out of it as you are.” I pull him on top of me, until he straddles me, our chests touching. “He sent me flowers.”

“Your dad?”

“The paramedic. He sent them to me and my mom. That’s why I do it now sometimes.”

“How can you not see what a hero you are? You have the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever known.” He lays his cheek against my chest and I wonder if he can feel it beating against his face.

“My mom struggled with it a little at first…the fact that I’m gay.” Christ, it’s like I can’t fucking shut up now. I don’t know why all this shit is spilling out of me in this moment.

“Really?” he asks.

“Yeah. I guess it came more from worry. You know she’s my biggest supporter in the world, but it was hard on her at first, or at least, she was surprised.”

“She loves you. There’s no way someone can know you and not love you, Frankie.”

“Thanks.” I smile as my fingertips dance up and down his back. He shivers. I love how responsive he is to touch and cuddling.

“You’re not him,” he says, somehow knowing exactly what I need to hear. “You’re not him, and you never will be. You’re too good for that. And no matter what you decide with him or anything else in your life, you’ll never let your mom down, Frankie. She loves you. Cut yourself some slack. No one deserves it more than you.”
