To my surprise and a bit of disappointment, he had agreed, albeit reluctantly but if he’d coaxed me, we might have reached an arrangement. Instead, he had walked out of my life and that was the last time I saw him.

Today was merely Friday and I was more exhausted than usual. Most of it had to do with how much energy I was using on trying not to think about him. It was for the best. Maybe if I told myself that enough times, I would start to believe it.

I was relieved that classes were over for the day. Amy, my best friend and I walked out of class together.

“Did you notice the Prof. checking me out?” Amy asked me.

“Professor Mulberry?” I asked, surprised. Amy had wild and varied tastes in men, but Mulberry was nerdy and too serious to be anybody’s type.

“Yes,” she said. “I think he likes me and I find him extremely sexy.”

I shook my head in disgust. “You’re sick.”

“I’ll tell you something you might not know. Those nerdy looking ones, they’re the kinkiest in bed.”

I laughed. Amy loved men the way men loved women. And they loved her right back. Since we met, three years earlier, she’d had close to ten boyfriends. What really impressed me though was how she remained friends with all her exes even after they broke up.

Plus, she had no particular bias. She loved them tall, short, slim, plump. As long as he had a cock between his legs, he was a candidate for Amy’s attention. I wasn’t surprised when she ground to a halt and whistled.

I knew that whistle. It meant that she had spotted a hot guy.

“Now, that is what I call a sexy man,” she said.

I looked and spotted him. My insides turned to water. I blinked in disbelief. Alex. Suddenly, I couldn’t breathe. He looked so hot, and yet so innocent and proper, leaning against the notice board, wearing a pair of chinos and a button-down shirt.

I blushed as I recalled the things he had done to me in bed and the dirty words that flowed easily from his mouth. He spotted me as I stood rooted to the spot and came towards us.

“Do you remember the guy I told you about?” I said to Amy. It had been a nice change to tell Amy a wild story for once. She was the one who lived the wild life and had all the stories.

I’d been sure that Alex and I would never meet again and I’d not spared her any details.

“The one who fucked you from here to Timbuktu with his big cock?” she asked a little too loudly.

“Hush!” I said, as Alex reached us. I hoped he hadn’t heard Amy.

He smiled and my heart lurched. “Charlotte, how odd to run into you here.”

I cleared my throat. “Hi.” Unexpected shyness came over me.

Amy thrust out her hand. “Hey, I’m Amy, Charlotte’s best friend.”

“And I’m Alex. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” he said, then swung his gaze back to me. “I missed you.”

Just like that. As if it was normal to tell someone you barely knew that you had missed them.

“That’s my cue to disappear,” Amy said, her eyes widening at me. “Talk to you later,” she said and left us in a hurry.

My stare focused on his lips. The lips that tasted so good and did all those indescribable things to my mouth and pussy. Heat enveloped me. Seeing him again was not a good idea. “Alex,” I started to say.

He closed the distance between us and brushed his lips against mine.

“I have to go home, shower, then go to work,” I said weakly. That was the reality of my life.

“I’ll walk you there,” he said and took my hand.

It felt so right to be holding his hand. My legs trembled slightly as we walked from college to my place. I should have told him to go away. To leave me alone. That we were right for each other, but we’d met at the wrong time.

However, my mouth refused to form the words and I found myself opening the street door that led up to my apartment.

“I meant it,” I told him, shutting my front door. “I can’t be late to work and I need to shower first.”

“I don’t want you to lose your job,” he said. “Go and shower.”

“Okay,” I said and went to my bedroom. I stripped, grabbed a fresh towel, wrapped it around me and padded to the bathroom.

It was while I was lathering shower gel over my body that the bathroom door swung open and Alex entered. He started removing his clothes. I slid the shower cubicle door open a crack. “What are you doing?”

Charlotte

“What does it look like I’m doing?” he asked. “I just realized how badly I need a shower as well. I smell of sweat.”
