That same sound we discussed earlier slips out once again, and I smile even wider.
"You said you didn't think I wanted you to be who you were when making love," she repeats. "Tell me why?"
"I'm now doubting I was right in my assumption," I tell her, lifting her shirt enough so I can press a simple kiss to her bare stomach.
"I'd like you to explain," she says, a shiver running through her body with my lips' contact.
"I'm a very vocal lover, Juliet."
"You are?"
I nod, letting my tongue sneak out and lick at her skin before giving her another light kiss.
She trembles under my attention.
"I'm going to tell you what I need, what I think you need, what I'm feeling. I'm going to tell you how much you please me, how good you make me feel," I say, looking up at her.
She lifts her hands and places them on my shoulders.
"You will?"
I nod. "I'm going to ask you what you want from me. I'm going to praise you for making me feel so good."
"You're so sure that I will," she whispers.
"I know you will, Juliet. I'm going to use words that I'd never say in front of you if we were just having a normal conversation."
"Like what? You're going to call me names?"
I shake my head. "I'd never disrespect you."
"I don't understand then," she says. "What are they?"
I shake my head. "Things I won't say while just having a conversation."
"This doesn't feel like a conversation."
"What does it feel like?"
"Foreplay," she whispers.
I nod. "That's exactly what it is. Are you uncomfortable?"
She shakes her head. "Not at all."
"Are you wet for me, Juliet?"
Her cheeks are red at this point, but she doesn't seem the least bit uneasy.
"I don't know," she whispers.
"No lies, Juliet. Are you wet for me?"
She swallows, her fingers curling into my shoulders, but she doesn't make a move to step back.
She maintains her ground when I stand in front of her.
"Tell me," I plead. "Tell me how wet you are for me."
"That-" she pauses as she licks her lips. "That sounds so dirty."
"Tell me something dirty, Juliet."
She looks up at me, her hands releasing my shoulder so she can wrap them around me. She pulls me in closer as she lifts up on the tips of her toes.
I swear my cock is going to bust the zipper on my jeans when she whispers in my ear.
"See for yourself."
Chapter 44
Juliet
See for yourself?
Who am I right now?
I keep my head close to his ear, a little embarrassed at the brazenness of my words, but he doesn't seem to mind.
His hands roam under my shirt, and it feels like a test to see if I still want this as he runs his hands over my back.
His touch feels like nothing I've ever felt before. It's gentle yet steadfast, as if he knows exactly what I need and has every intention of giving it to me.
I pull my arms back, taking a step away when he lifts the hem of my shirt. He keeps his eyes on mine as he pulls it over my head before tossing it on the end of the bed.
"Any restrictions?" he asks. "Hard limits?"
"It's those questions that made me ask if you were going to tie me up," I say, feeling like the luckiest woman on earth when he smiles at me.
"I just don't want to do anything that you're uncomfortable with."
"I can't think of anything right off the top of my head," I tell him honestly.
"You're safe with me," he says.
"Are you sure?" I ask, needing to hear the words.
"Always," he answers without hesitation or a look that tells me he's annoyed that I would even question it. "I'll go slow. Anything you're not sure of, just tell me."
"I don't want to ruin the moment."
"You won't. I promise. What will ruin it is if I do something you don't want, but I won't know unless you tell me. Promise me."
"I promise," I say, reminding myself that it's okay for me to use my words if things go in a direction I don't want them to.
His eyes drift away as he takes a step back, his eyes taking their time to drink me in.
I know the second he sees the scar he noticed earlier, but this time he doesn't look angry. He simply leans forward and presses a soft kiss to my shoulder.
No one, other than medical staff, has touched me there, but it doesn't send my mind into a frenzy. I'm too lost in the feel of his hands on my body to get distracted by my past.
His lips move as his hands work to open the clasp of my bra. I normally don't wear one to bed, but as comfortable as I have been here, I still haven't felt comfortable enough to go without one.
The fabric falls from my skin, and I pull my hands from his body only long enough to let it drop to the floor between us.
