We worked our asses off to turn shit around and we’ve come full circle, even the FBI worked hand in hand with us, helping to locate missing persons and I’ve never been so proud. Dynasty has turned into the kind of organization that I know both my father and his father before him would have been proud to run. Hell, I don’t doubt that they’re looking down on me now, shaking their heads as they try to figure out just how I defied all the odds.

I break through the surface of the water, feeling the blistering sun bearing down on my skin and know without a doubt that I’m going to end up with the sweetest tan, though if I’m not careful, I’m going to burn and give the boys another reason to try and keep me sheltered.

It’ll never happen though. They’ve been trying for nearly five years and all they’ve managed to do is help me to figure out new ways to get under their skin and I absolutely love it.

I roll onto my back, floating in the water as I look up at the boys, coming to a stop on the edge of the deck, looking down at me as my arms and legs gently tread through the clear water of the sea as the stunning turtles swim around me. “Get that ass over here,” Cruz tells me, the grin that lights up his face making me melt for the millionth time today. It’s impossible to deny him, but I’m not one to shy away from a challenge.

“No,” I call back. “You guys get your asses over here.”

Grayson scoffs. “Don’t make me come and get you.”

“Is that a promise?” I challenge, laughing at him.

“So, I guess that means you don’t want to see what we got you?” Carver says, raising his brow and waiting for me to silently freak out.

“You got me a present?”

King rocks back on his heels, his gorgeous grin nearly tempting me to swim all the way back, even if they’re just fucking with me. “We could always take it back if you don’t want it.”

“What?” I rush out, my eyes widening, trusting completely that he’ll follow through on his threat. “No, I want it. I’m coming.”

I start swimming back, feeling the soft tickle of my string bikini brushing against my skin. It’s been a crazy few days. We saved that girl yesterday morning and while we’ve been hating ourselves for just how long it’s taken to find her, it was also bittersweet. The moment we reunited her with her family, Cruz turned to me and the boys and demanded that we book a vacation, and here we are, halfway across the world having the time of our lives on a private island. You know, after spending countless hours on a plane and then a private boat to get here.

It’s the most incredible place I’ve ever seen, and since the moment we arrived here, I’ve been kicking myself, wondering why the fuck we haven’t done this sooner. Though, I’m not going to lie, the jet lag is killing me. But I’m sure by tomorrow morning, I’ll be perfectly fine, more so knowing that we have this island for as long as we want.

I approach the side of the deck and Grayson reaches down and scoops me straight out of the water as Carver drapes a towel around me, but with the blistering sun, I only need the towel for a quick moment before my body is dry and my bikini begins to soak up the rays, warming my body.

King takes my hand and the guys lead me back toward the massive resort until we’re standing out front looking over the beautiful shore with the shade from the palms looming over us.

Nerves flow through me, having no idea what this could be about but when the guys step in front of me, each of them looking at me with love shining in their eyes, I realize that this is the good kind of present, not the kind where they surprise me with a new position that they saw in a cheap porn movie.

“What’s going on?” I question, my tone filled with suspicion. “What did you get me?”

Grayson’s hand digs into his pocket and he walks over to me with a big velvety box and places it into my hands. “Why don’t you take a look for yourself?”

The curiosity gets the best of me and I open the box and suck in a shallow gasp as a beautiful set of knuckles stares back at me, the diamonds glistening in the sun and telling me that this right here didn’t come cheap.

“What the hell?” I breathe, my eyes widening as I lift it out of the box and take a closer look at the diamonds that completely cover the four finger holes. I slide my fingers into place and it fits me like a glove, but as I turn my hand over to look at the bottom half, I find all four of the guys’ names carved into the metal. “It’s beautiful,” I whisper, feeling my emotions begin to overwhelm me. “But what’s it for? It’s not my birthday.”
