Needing to pee, I slip out from under Grayson’s arm and climb over Cruz before accidentally backing my ass up into Carver’s face, but what can I say? That’s just the risk we take sleeping with so many in a bed, though at home we’re a little more spread out. We can’t keep up with this five in the bed thing. It’s too much so we keep it for special occasions … or those nights when we’re all too exhausted after being together that we all crash without bothering to get dressed … nights like last night.

My feet hit the ground and the second I straighten, my stomach squeezes and I bolt for the bathroom, feeling everything sloshing around inside of me. I barely get through to the bathroom, having no choice but to leave the door wide open as I crash down on the ground, my knees hitting the cold tiles just in time for me to hurl into the bowl.

The need to pee remains strong and I have no choice but to shove my hands between my pussy to keep it all in as my violent heaves take over me.

“Babe?” King rushes out, storming into the bathroom behind me. “What’s wrong? Are you sick?”

“Obviously I’m fucking sick,” I growl at him. “Now get the fuck out.”

He comes rushing at me, grabbing locks of hair and pulling them out of the way and I don’t get another chance to tell him to fuck off again before more vomit is flying out of me, decorating the toilet bowl in the worst possible way.

“What’s going on?” Carver asks, the next to come through the door, closely followed by both Cruz and Grayson, their eyes wide.

Carver just stares as Cruz rushes to my side to pat my back like I’m some kind of child in need of help, while in reality, I’d like nothing more than to be alone. There’s nothing worse than having four guys watching you at your absolute worst, but at least Grayson is actually helpful and grabs a cool washcloth and a glass of water.

“You good?” Grayson questions, handing the glass to Cruz who lifts it to my lips and attempts to make me drink, only I pull away, my stomach rolling with the thought of swallowing anything. “Is it finished?”

I shake my head, feeling absolutely helpless. “I … I don’t know what it is. I haven’t eaten anything weird. I mean, I don’t think I have. I ate the same as you guys, and you’re all fine.”

“Could you be pregnant?” King suggests, his question silencing the other guys who all stare at me wide-eyed.

I roll my eyes and let out a heavy sigh, slowly taking the glass from Cruz and dropping the lid of the toilet seat before shuffling up and sitting on it. “Not possible,” I tell them, watching as they all sigh, though those sighs don’t exactly look relieved. “I’ve got this thing in my arm, remember? I can’t get knocked up until it’s been yanked out.”

Grayson shakes his head and moves back to the bathroom cupboard, searching through it as he begins to interrogate me. “When was the last time you had it replaced? Aren’t they supposed to be changed every three years?”

I nod as my brows furrow, thinking back to the last time I stopped by my doctor’s office to have my birth control updated, and while I remember the awkward visit vividly, I can’t exactly remember when it was. “I, umm. Shit, I can’t remember.”

Grayson rolls his eyes and a moment later, pulls a little pink box out of the cupboard and starts tearing into it. “Here,” he says, handing me a pregnancy test. “Couldn’t hurt just to check.”

Knowing he’s right, I pull the cap off the test and as I rise up off the toilet and lift the lid, it becomes pretty damn clear that none of the guys have even the smallest intentions of leaving the bathroom. “The fuck are you waiting for?” I ask them. “An invitation? Get the hell out. Let a girl pee in peace.”

They all grumble and reluctantly move out of the bathroom but judging by their murmured conversation, they didn’t go far, but I’m not surprised. They’re a bunch of over-protective asshats who would do absolutely anything for me. Asking them to leave while I’m sick was like asking them to build a rocket, fly to the moon, paint themselves blue, and wiggle their dicks at each other.

Realizing that their patience won’t last forever, I shove the test between my legs and get to work pissing all over my hand, and the moment I can, I dart over to the sink and get cleaned up. The test rests against the vanity as I scramble through my things for my toothbrush and by the time I’m spitting into the sink and rinsing out my mouth, the test is ready to go.
