My arranged marriage to a mafia boss is scandalous enough, even before he shares me with his brothers…

Massimo Moretti is handsome. Powerful. Dangerous. And my fiancé. The first time I lay eyes on him is at our engagement party, and he immediately whisks me away to the mansion he shares with his two brothers.

He thinks I’m a spoiled mafia princess, but he doesn’t know how sheltered my life has been. My parents never let me date. Rarely let me out at all, in fact. And now that I’m betrothed, I’ll never have the opportunity to fall in love with a man of my own choosing.

But as I grow to resent my gilded cage, Massimo makes me a surprising offer. Until the wedding, I’m free to make up for my lack of experience with his brothers, as long as they don’t claim my innocence, which belongs only to him. You’d think a controlling, domineering man like Massimo would be jealous, but he’s not—at least until my chemistry with his brothers ignites into an inferno.

Carmine, the middle brother, is Massimo’s right-hand man and my bodyguard. Though protective, he shows me more of the world than anyone ever has. I should be afraid of this deadly, ruthless man, but instead, I’m drawn to his powerful body as well as his secretly kind heart.

Stefano, the youngest brother, wants nothing to do with the family business, but like me, he doesn’t have a choice. When we’re alone together, his touch makes us both forget the chains that bind our lives.

Then there’s Massimo himself. He’s drop-dead gorgeous, but he controls Chicago’s illicit underworld with an iron fist, and he’s the same way in our marital bed. But once he finally opens up to me, I begin to see him as a man who lives by a code and will protect those he loves at all costs.

As our wedding day nears, I’m heartbroken at the thought of losing my connection with Massimo’s brothers. Then a devastating discovery makes me question everything I know about the Moretti men. Could falling for them be the most dangerous mistake of my life?

MAFIA GROOMS is a dark mafia reverse harem romance with a happy ever after ending. It's part of the Mafia Devils series, standalone romances with characters who continue to make appearances.

LEILA

"Smile."

The tall man next to me said the word under his breath as we posed for friends, family, and the photographer. I did my best to twist the corners of my mouth upward as I clung to his arm. A flash temporarily blinded me, and as I blinked the world back into focus, I saw my mother pointing at her own exaggerated smile. Clearly, my effort hadn’t worked.

I tried again, stretching my mouth wide. Massimo’s dark gaze settled on my upturned face. “This is our engagement party, Allegra. Try not to look so miserable.”

His tone made it clear that he thought that any woman who didn’t want to be the center of attention at her own engagement party was insane.

Then again, most engaged women had known their fiancé for more than thirty minutes, but not me.

The photographer declared he’d gotten the shots he needed, and the crowd dispersed. My parents went back to their table where my father would likely tell anyone who would listen how rich and powerful his soon-to-be son-in-law was.

I slid my hand out from under Massimo’s arm and took a step back, a little unsteady in my high heels. Massimo turned to face me, his eyes sweeping across my black dress, but not in a flattering way. More like he was taking stock.

But when he spoke, there was a little less irritation in his voice. “Would you like something to drink, Allegra?”

“No, thank you.” My voice was so quiet that I wasn’t even sure he’d heard. The intensity of his dark eyes was getting to me. "And please call me Leila." It was what my family called me, as well as my tutors, the housekeepers, and my father’s men. But Massimo gave me an incredulous look as if I’d asked to be called Queen Victoria.

“I see some associates I must talk to, Allegra.” He stressed the name, because of course he did. It was already clear that my preferences didn’t matter to him. That shouldn’t have been a surprise. It’s not like the woman got much say in an arranged marriage.

He strode away and I watched the way his muscles flexed under his black suit. That was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. Share a bed with. Have children with. And he was a complete stranger to me, as I was to him.

Massimo joined a group of men in dark, expensive suits. Men who wore wealth and power easily. He fit right in. Or … no, it was more than that. He seemed to be their leader. They stepped aside to make room for him and they listened raptly, whatever conversation they’d been having before he appeared apparently abandoned.
