In my fantasy, she sat on the desk that Proctor had used for decades, but now it was empty. There were only a few papers on it, and I pushed them away to fall on the floor. She spread her legs open for me, and I pulled her in, letting my lips linger on hers as I pulled her panties aside and sunk into her. Her skirt would get rolled up to her hips, and I would pound into her relentlessly, the sound of her climax filling the room without a care of being caught. Then, just as I was about to finish, she got off the table, dropping to her knees to take me deep into her throat. I came as she moaned and stroked me.

My knees buckled as I climaxed in the shower, and I held myself up with one hand on the wall. Then, opening my eyes, I cleaned up and finished bathing, getting out and putting on pajamas.

One thing was for certain. I wasn’t restless anymore.

CHAPTER 9

CAMILLA

The week hit me hard by the time I got home from work at the school Friday afternoon, and I still had coursework to do for my certification class. I wasn’t making a lot of money from my student-teaching position, but it was a bit of a bump up from what I also made doing my temp work. I would make more when I took on the position full-time, and for now I was trying to enjoy the incremental increase in my income.

One of the ways I did that was going to a local thrift shop and buying a cheap overstuffed chair to add to my living room. It was a strange color and only had one of the throw pillows it was supposed to come with, but it was clean, comfortable, and, very importantly, a piece of furniture to make my apartment more livable.

I eyed the couch when I got inside and dropped my purse and armful of papers and files to the floor beside the front door. It was so tempting. I wanted so much to just plop down onto it and spend a couple of hours staring blankly at the TV and whatever was on when I hit the remote button. But I knew if I did that, I might just melt into the cushions and not be able to move for the rest of the day.

I really couldn’t afford to do that. I needed to get my work done for class so I didn’t fall behind. The agency had called when I was just leaving the school and let me know they had an assignment for me starting the next week, so I was going to be extraordinarily busy.

I had let the agency know that I was working at the school and wouldn’t be available during those hours. That meant the position they’d found for me would be something in the late afternoons and evenings. It was going to cut into my time to do my schoolwork and also sleep. I was in for an exhausting few weeks, but it was the place I was in my life right then.

After changing into more comfortable clothes and making myself a snack, I settled onto the couch and opened up my computer. At some point in the night, my eyes snapped open, and I realized I had fallen asleep. Worried I hadn’t gotten anything done, I frantically checked my computer and saw I had managed to complete nearly everything I had to do that night.

Feeling more awake, I sat up and turned on the TV to keep myself company in the dark quiet of the middle of the night. I finished what I needed to do and then turned off the TV to head to bed.

The next day I was up cleaning the house and doing some prep work for the computer science class for the next week when my phone rang. It was Fiona, and I already had a feeling I knew what was coming.

“We’re going out tonight,” she said when I answered, fulfilling my expectation. “The bar is having some really great drink specials.”

I knew that wasn’t really why she wanted to go.

“I have a lot on my plate next week, and I should really stay home and get ready for that,” I said.

Fiona groaned. “Come on. That’s for next-week Camilla to worry about. Enjoy yourself tonight.”

“Let me guess, Gus is working tonight?” I teased.

“He might be,” she said. I stayed silent, and she finally let out a sigh. “Yes, he is. I just saw it on the bar’s social media.”

I laughed. Fiona had a massive crush on the head bartender and had been finding as many opportunities to go in and be near him as she possibly could. Big and burly, he had tattoos covering every visible inch of his arms, long hair tied back into a ponytail, and a thick beard.
