Thankfully, wedding preparations take over all of my mental ability, and I get a reprieve from my nonstop hot biker fantasies. Fudge. I only met him three hours ago, and he’s already taking up residence in my poor brain. I manage to avoid Landon most of the night, but I still feel his penetrating blue eyes following me.

Every time I glance over at him, I find his intense gaze trained on me. By the end of the evening, I’m an overheated, horny mess. I get my reprieve when Cash comes rushing in needing Landon’s assistance. I use the opportunity to make a run for it.

Later that night, I lie under my warm covers wondering how I’m going to survive my twin’s wedding tomorrow without jumping the smoking hot cowboy.

“Okay.” My twin glances back in the mirror with her eyebrow raised. “Spit it out.” There’s no way I’ll be able to hide my crazy reaction to Landon from my sister for long, but I refuse to take away from her special day.

“I can’t believe you won’t be living with me.” I change the subject, hoping she doesn’t press me. “Cash had better take care of you or I’m going to kick his ass.”

Hadley turns and wraps her arms around me. “He will. And I will get the truth out of you before it’s over.”

Not anytime soon, I think to myself while helping my twin put the finishing touches on her makeup. Between the excitement of the wedding and her constant morning sickness, Hadley doesn’t get the chance to grill me again. My luck holds and I manage to avoid Landon for most of the ceremony. I’m not embarrassed to say I rush into the bathroom twice when I see him making his way over to me.

After Hadley and Cash leave, I breathe a sigh of relief. It’s time for me to make my exit, too. I need space to fortify my defenses. There’s no way I’ll let the cowboy catch me without putting up a fight.

“Where are you going?” Shoot. Thinking I’d slipped out without him seeing, I allowed Landon to corner me in the deserted kitchen. Dealing with his burning stare for the last several hours has left me a needy mess.

“I’m heading home.” I shrug and gather myself.

“You promised me a dance.” Huh? Has he lost his mind? There’s no way I’ll survive having his strong arms wrapped around me. No way.

“I did no such thing.” I huff and paste a bored, uninterested look on my face. At least I’m hoping it comes off as bored and uninterested, and not constipated.

“Come on, baby.” He reaches for my arm, and goosebumps break out on my overheated skin as his spicy scent teases my nose. “I’ve been fantasizing about having you in my arms all fucking day long.” My ability to resist him turns to mush, and I allow him to lead me to the dance floor. When Landon wraps his strong arms around me, my eyes drift shut and I know I’m in a world of hurt. Everything feels perfect. It feels right. And that’s all wrong.

Holding her luscious curves close soothes the frustration running through me. When I strolled into Petal Pushers yesterday, I had no clue my whole world was about to change. Meeting my soulmate was a total shock, and it took hours for my stubborn brain to accept that these insane emotions aren’t going away. Fuck my life.

“The wedding was beautiful,” I whisper in her ear and see goosebumps break out along her creamy, white neck. Before I’m able to stop myself, I lean down and place my tongue on the vein furiously pounding at the side of her throat. A shiver runs through her curvy frame, then she pulls back from me. I barely contain the growl attempting to burst past my teeth.

“Thank you.” She takes a deep breath and slowly blows it out. “But I’m really tired and just want to go home and pass out.” Fuck, this woman owns me. I’m not sure how I survived this entire ceremony without combusting. When she walked down the aisle in the curve-hugging dress, my cock nearly erupted in my pants. Once Cash and Hadley left, I knew it was time to act.

My sassy pants little love slips from my arms while I’m occupied with my crazy thoughts and makes a beeline for the exit. When I rush after her, Rulie steps in my path and I almost deck him for attempting to keep me away from Kyra.

“I need to talk to you for a second.” He raises an eyebrow, daring me to refuse. Fuck. As I make to step around him, my friend shakes his head. “Man, that girl is exhausted, and she’s been avoiding you like the plague.” Who the hell does he think he is? “I’ve gotten to know that little lady during the last few weeks, and she isn’t going to respond well to you pushing her right now.” While I’ve been catching myself in both directions between the ranch and dealing with Brady, Rulie and his wife, Gloria, have been helping Cash and Kyra organize this wedding. Hadley’s morning sickness put a wrench in the plans, and those four stepped up to get it done.
