I’d love to see them again before we head back home. We bought a house close to them for when we’re in the States. I’m sure that will be a lot more often once the babies get here.

“Look at me. Magnus keeps me trapped in our bed so I’m practically a ghost.” I hold my arms out, showing her, and Amber laughs.

“I know the feeling.” She smirks.

“It might be a little fun,” I finally give in.

“You miss the thrill, don’t you?”

I nod. There’s something about them chasing us that always turns me on. I think it’s the fact that I know they won’t stop until they have us. It doesn’t matter what it takes, they’re determined to give us the security that we need.

“They didn’t tell you what they are up to?” I ask, and Amber shakes her head.

We’re at some fancy resort on a somewhat private island with only one hotel. All I cared about was seeing the ocean and being somewhere warm for a few days.

“Wait.” Amber pauses mid-bite while she realizes something at the same time I do.

“They wouldn't,” she says finally, and I cock my head to the side.

“They would and you know it!” We both roll our eyes.

“We can’t say we like anything or they’ll buy it. We don’t need a whole freaking island,” Amber huffs. It’s sweet they do these over-the-top things, but this is too much. They are always trying to make us happy, but this might be just insane.

“I’d rather have a yacht so we can island hop,” I tease, and we both laugh.

“So…” She stares at me.

“I’ll get my bathing suit on.”

We both jump up and go to our rooms to get dressed. When we come back out, we’re both wearing matching bikinis. “How does this always happen to us!” I ask and shake my head. Somehow we always end up buying the same thing without the other knowing.

“Because you want to be me?” Amber smirks.

“Yes, that must be it.” We grab our beach bags and then head out. “Oh, I need a cover-up,” I say, turning around to go back inside, but the door is locked. “Key me.” I hold my hand out to Amber, but she just looks at me.

“I don’t have one.”

“They’re going to murder us,” I sigh. If they catch us roaming around in bikinis, it’s going to be a scene. But knowing we have no other choice, we give up and go to the pool until they find us.

We slide our sunglasses on and lie down on some loungers. It’s not moments later that shadows loom over us—too small to be our husbands.

“How are you ladies doing?” I open my eyes to see two guys about our age standing over us in swim trunks. I hold up my hand, showing my ring, and then put my other hand over my small baby bump that’s not super noticeable yet.

“This looks like a girls’ trip to us,” the blond one says, dismissing the giant rocks indicating we’re married. Amber is fighting a smile.

“You’re going to get them killed,” I hiss at her.

“What?” they both say.

“Our husbands are a little crazy,” I supply, trying to warn them off. Amber bursts into laughter.

“A little?” She keeps laughing.

“If you were our ladies, we wouldn't let you down here without us. Sounds like their loss.” The blond one starts to sit down on the end of my chair, but his ass never makes contact. Magnus is on him, lifting him like a ragdoll and tossing him into the pool. Henrik does the same to the other guy before they turn their stares on us.

“We didn’t let your little asses go anywhere,” Magnus grits out.

“Hi,” Amber chirps. “Do we own an island now?” I bite the inside of my cheek, trying not to laugh, but my whole body is shaking.

“No,” Magnus growls, and my laughter to stop. Not because I’m scared, but because the sound always turns me on.

“We were handling something for our wives, but it seems we should have been handling our wives instead,” Henrik says.

The two guys get out on the other side of the pool and trudge away. I have a feeling they’ll be off this island in the very near future.

Magnus holds his hand out, and when I take it, he pulls me to my feet. “I’m sorry?” I bat my eyelashes up at him.

“You will be. For now your brother is saving your beautiful ass. But later that will change.”

“Wait, what?” I ask, and I hear Amber gasp.

Magnus spins me around, and standing there is the rest of our family. We let out screams of excitement, and I turn back around to jump in my husband's arms. “I love you.”

“And I love you.” He leans down and kisses me.

The Strand brothers lived up to their word. They gave us the family we always dreamed of and so much more. Including a life together with my sister.
