I rocked my hips, kissing Ash’s lips and nose. I moved slowly at first, sliding all the way in and pulling out to rest the tip of my cock at his hole before doing it again. And again. I couldn’t keep that slow torture up for long. I picked up the pace, fusing my mouth to his as the rhythm changed and pleasure flooded my veins. Asher clutched at my biceps, holding me close and smacking my ass like he was snapping a whip. Yeah, that kind of did it for me.

“You want more? Tell me what you want.”

“Yes, more,” he gasped. “Harder. Please…yes, oh…more.”

I delivered. I pistoned my hips so fast, the headboard hit the wall with enough force to do some damage. I couldn’t stop. He was hot and tight. And he fit me like a glove. I loved the way he moved under me, lifting to meet me thrust for thrust, pulling my hair one second, then running his fingers down my spine. The rough and sweet combo was my undoing. I felt my orgasm gather like a storm on the horizon, and there was no way to stop it.

“Baby, I’m close,” I growled.

Asher beat me to it.

He pushed his hand between us and jerked himself, his jaw tight and his eyes half-closed. He went rigid and cried out, shooting cum over his stomach. I had a nanosecond to catch my breath before I fell apart too. I roared and bucked my hips, filling the condom as I collapsed on top of him in a lifeless heap.

“Can’t breathe.”

I rose up on my elbows and grinned. “Better?”

“Yes.” He flashed a shy smile. “I did not think my day would end like this.”

“It’s not even noon, Ash. That’s gotta be a good sign.” I rocked my hips one last time and pulled out. I disposed of the spent condom and swiped at the mess of cum and sweat on his chest with a discarded T-shirt I found on my floor, shocked when he didn’t ask how long it had been there. I flopped beside him and sighed. “Give me a minute, and I’ll grab us a towel or we can take a shower.”

“Okay. Can I ask you something?”

I rolled to face him, setting my hand on his chin. “Anything.”

“What did you mean when you said you didn’t want to pretend anymore?” he asked, furrowing his brow.

I straightened his glasses and set my thumb on his lower lip. “Just that. I thought I was pretty good at playing a part, but I can’t pretend that I don’t want you. It’s not possible. I’m all for being friends, but I’m…kinda crazy about you.”

“You are?”

“You don’t believe me?” I countered with a laugh.

“I don’t know, but I wanted this too. So…maybe we can be friends with benefits. I’m not fond of that title, but—”

I put my hand over his mouth, then kissed him. “We don’t need a title. We don’t have to justify us. We can do what we want. I want you and if you want me too, I think that’s enough for now. Don’t you?”

Asher’s forehead creased as he studied me intently. “Yes, but this was not in the script.”

“We’ll add it.” I draped my leg over his, pulling him to his side to face me. “Anything else?”

“Probably. But I can’t think with you so close. I’ll have to give it some thought.”

I smiled. “Deal. Are you hungry?”

“Famished.”

“C’mon. We’ll shower and get something to eat.”

“And then what?”

“Then we come back here, get naked, and do this all over again. You in?”

Asher snickered. “Yes. I am in.”

I kissed him, smacked his ass, and bounded out of bed with my arms raised in victory…as if I’d won some kind of prize. And damn, I felt like I had.

I didn’t know where this would lead. I had nothing real to offer Ash, and I was pretty sure I wasn’t worthy of him on any level, but I wanted to be. We could take this one day at a time, see where we landed, and hope for the best.

Sex was my favorite sport. By far. And I was good at it too. I was up for trying any position and barring anything painful, I was willing to experiment. Don’t get me wrong, I had a few rules and I was sure to let Blake know. There was nothing worse than getting excited at the prospect of a sexual adventure, only to find out that you’re hopelessly incompatible in a crucial way.

“I don’t mind getting spanked, but I don’t want to be in pain,” I informed him over dinner soon after we’d decided to give in to our sexual attraction.

Blake dropped a chopstick and set the other down before dabbing his mouth with a napkin. “O-kay…”

“I thought that was something you might want to know about me.” I smiled, reaching for a piece of sushi.
